Scout Fellowship

Scout Fellowships are groups of adults (over 18s) who support Scouting activities and develop their own social programme to suit their membership. Derby North District has a District Scout Fellowship membership of around 35.

The primary role of a Scout Fellowship is to support Scouting activities. What form this takes will be driven by the District's requirements, and can vary from helping out at a Scouting event to helping in an administrative capacity. Any help is much appreciated. Some members are currently also in other posts in the District as part of a Group. All offer an additional pair of hands at District, Area or County events.

Most Fellowship members have a history in Scouting but that is not a prerequisite. The only requirement is to have a willingness to help at Scouting events. The current Fellowship membership has a variety of skills and experience.

Scout Fellowship also offers the opportunity to learn new skills and new experiences if so desired.  That is part of the fun of Scouting, whatever your age.

For contacts see District Directory or contact the District Commissioner.
