Our Youth Programme

Scouting is a journey of growth, challenge, and discovery β€” and it looks a little different at every stage.

From our youngest Squirrels to our adventurous Network members, we offer a progressive programme designed to build confidence, develop life skills, and help every young person reach their full potential.

🐾 Ages 4–14: Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs & Scouts

Our core programme, delivered through local Scout Groups, takes young people on a journey of adventure and learning. They’ll make friends, explore the outdoors, earn badges, and build skills for life.

🌍 Explorers (Ages 14–18)

Explorer Scouts take things to the next level β€” with more independence, bigger adventures, and the chance to shape their own programme. It’s where challenge meets choice.

πŸ”— Explorer Young Leaders (Ages 14–18)

Explorer Scouts can also volunteer with younger sections as part of the Young Leaders’ Scheme. It’s a great way to build leadership skills, gain experience, and give back β€” all while working towards top awards.

🀝 Network (Ages 18–25)

Scout Network is for young adults who want to stay involved with Scouting on their own terms β€” whether that’s through projects, camps, international trips, or social events.
